We do have a nice quest searching our magnificent bird species, in the nearest towns of Quepos. Our specialist bilingual guides will lead you through the primary and secondary rainforest to conquest the treetops and their kings.
Where we going to drive thru the rural areas, wich is the best for birding. A mixture of fields compose by primary, secondary forest and different cultives.

Countryside Birdwatching
Starting also 5:30am from your hotel, we'll drive thru crop lands and villages on our way to the mountains around the area of Cerro Nara, an important watershed from which Quepos and Manuel Antonio (just to name a few) get their potable water. After only 40 minutes on the road, we'll get to the town of Villa Nueva , where after a light breakfast, we'll start our quest for some of the region's magnificent avifauna, including trogons (relatives of the Resplendent Quetzal), Toucans, Parrots, Tanagers and Warblers and a wide variety of birds from lowland rain forest. As the pacing of the hike takes place, will be possible to interact with some of the locals and learn about the life style of the Costa Rican “campesinos” (farmers) as well.
